Jakartans May See Light Rains from Noon to Late Afternoon

Jakarta will see rain with light-medium intensity and cloudy today, Tuesday (5/24).

Beware of potential rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds in the late afternoon in South and Eats Jakarta

The weather prediction was made by the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), which also said that West and South Jakarta were expected to see rain accompanied by thunder at noon; followed by light rain in East Jakarta; while cloudy in North, Central Jakarta, and Seribu Islands.

"Beware of potential rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds in the late afternoon in South and Eats Jakarta," stated BMKG's official site.

Jakarta Expects Thunderstorm This Afternoon

At night, light rain would fall in South and East Jakarta; clear-cloudy in Central, West, North Jakarta, and Seribu Islands.

Entering dawn, most regions were expected in Jakarta, except in Seribu Islands that would see light-medium rain.

Temperatures are predicted at 24 to 34 degrees Celsius with 80 to 95 percent humidity.
